The Komodo team are making an important Komodo IDE/Edit 8.5.2 release -
which is recommended for all users. You can download it directly from
the links below, or use '/Help > Check for Updates.../' if you've
already got Komodo 8 installed:

Bug Fixes
These are the major bug fixes in Komodo 8.5.2:
* *Possible loss of data when saving a file*
If you had the /Editor > Save Options > Clean Trailing Whitespace/
preference enabled (not the default setting), saving a file that did
not end with an EOL marker could sometimes loose the last 2 lines of
that file. See bug 100967

* *Code Intelligence memory leak*
The code intelligence system was leaking memory in some cases - most
noticeable when editing large files. This has been fixed and can
