This event is structured with two keynote addresses and
sequential presentations with moderated discussions covering the
following 5 themes:
- Communication & Conceptualization - how people understand
- Making Information Flow - matching information to human
activities
- Identifying User Needs - putting knowledge in context
- New Media, New Contexts, New Knowledge - preparing for the
future of knowledge presentation
- Building Collaboration - the Expert Group for Knowledge
Presentation
We are inviting participants from multiple disciplines including,
but not limited to information science, knowledge management,
education, psychology, social science, finance, artificial
intelligence, and other information specializations.

** Twinned symposium
The Knowledge presentation symposium follows a symposium on:
"Growing a Community of Design Practice based on design
research, methods, user studies and collaboration" held at
the same venue on Wednesday May 28th and Thursday May 29th.
This meeting will focus on identifying and developing a
community of design practice. The concern of this symposium
is design education and practice as it relates to four themes:
research, methods, user studies and collaboration.

for addressing and discussing issues relevant to the paths

in an actual session.
