Thanks for the tip, Jan, I hadn't known about this one. I've written to 
them and asked about their XML format, because FacetMap can import other 
facet formats and we hope we can incorporate TermTree.

When that happens, you'll be able to do faceted classification of resources 
against an external TermTree schema, with markup like this:
<taxonomy href="http://site.com/termtree_export.xml#food" facetid="food" />
<taxonomy ... />
<resource title="Mongolian Beef Recipe">
   <map facetid="food" heading="beef" />
   <map ... />
</resource>

I'm interested to know of any other formats people are using for facets. Of 
course, you can use FacetMap's own format, too. The new DTD is available at 
<http://facetmap.com/spec/facetmap2_0.dtd> and I'd like to hear what you 
think of it.

XFML is also a great format to use for delivering FC schema. The advantage 
of using XFML's or FacetMap's format is that you can also map resources to 
facets with the same format -- if you just use a taxonomy descriptor 
format, you have to make a bridge to that when you map your resources.
