Yes indeed. Currently, tools are being developed. Facetmap supports
xfml. The children's browsing tool could be adjusted to do that,
although I don't think it would scale to large image collections (and
the interface is a bit, well, quircky :).

Here's a question about the utility: does it let you build one tree, or
multiple trees (ie. facets)? It sounds pretty interesting! I'm gonna
check it out.
