Dear Peter, According to my opinion, XFML+ is not the next version of XFML but it can be a specialized "clone" of every XFML version. XFML implements the faceted classification approach which was proposed 80 years ago. Thus it is quite stable. On the other hand, the extensions that distinguish XFML+ from XFML appeared a couple of months ago, and they are still subject of intensive research. Therefore what I would propose (at least for now) is to add XFML+ in http://xfml.org/spec/ as one of the possible clones of XFML.
