The collective wisdom of the group would be welcomed.
I have this list of facet groups from the BCA web site and am fitting my
literature in to it
Thing - kind - part - property - material -process - operation - patient
- product - by-product - agent - space - time
I am a little stuck on where to put the concept of 'symbolism' within
these facet groups.
Widely used in religious literature and in studies of literature (e.g.
'The poetics of conversion : number symbolism and alchemy in Gottfried's
Tristan') and history. Even in hard sciences, one could think of a study
of the symbolism of the Ouroboros on Kekule
Any thoughts?
Best wishes
