Facet structure/facet seqence (was: Introductions)

I think this is an interesting approach and am curious to hear more.

In my view, any given object or concept has an infinite number of
potential facets. "Facet structure" seems to suggest at least a
primary collection of facets, more important than others, and that
their structure should suggest the nature of the resulting taxonomy.

Am I reading this right?

And if this is the case, how do you best determine the 'primary
collection of facets'? Facet patterns derived from culture? Use?

I think we can all intuit the facets we should expose for a given
object. I was just wondering if you were suggesting a more defined
approach.
