Earth v.s the Flying Saucers!

This was on TCM last night, no doubt in reference to
the "War of the Worlds" premier this week.

Anyhoo, I remember a pertinent line from the movie,
and wonder if anyone else caught the entire blurb;
when the General is captured and the aliens suck the
information from his brain ... the method was the
"eternally indexed brain" or something ... 

does anyone remember the exact quote?
