Dear Café-denizens The email on another list, below, has announced the news that Robert Barnett has died. Those of you who are forms enthusiasts will know him as a hugely influential person in the world of forms, and a tremendous evangelist for usability. http://www.rbainformationdesign.com.au/ I last saw him in Canberra in November last year, when he already knew that he had terminal throat cancer. He was a lifelong non-smoker and believed the cause to be dental x-rays. By that time, he could no longer travel but continued to work as hard as he could, updating his blog until quite recently. Best Caroline Jarrett www.formsthatwork.com >------------------- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ray Killam Sent: 27 October 2009 21:24 To: [email protected] Subject: [bfma] Rob Barnett I just heard today that Rob Barnett passed away yesterday. He had been quite ill for some time. He was an avid participant on Formspace, prolific author, Jo Warner award winner, a top forms professional and a good friend. He will be missed. I will post any additional information on Formspace as it becomes available. Ray H.
