PowerPoint has been the proverbial double-edged sword. The world sees
many more mind-numbing recitations of stuff presented on a screen. On
the other hand, the program enforces the idea that making an outline
is a good idea and fully preparing what the speaker intends to say in
advance is required. It's rare to hear a fully rambling presentation
since pp became ubiquitous.
