Bembo for the web?

My son's start-up boss admires the font on a book from the NY Metropolitan
Museum.  I was able to use my Bringhurst book to figure out that it was Bembo;
unfortunately, it's a private form of Bembo that is used only by Yale
University Press and its cohorts.

The start-up would like to use the font for all kinds of applications, web,
paper, etc. I found a few things on the web saying that the font didn't scale
well when enlarged. My question for you is, is that info the last word? Is
there a good quality, scalable Bembo out there somewhere?

Thanks for any info you can share!
