Hi Sue

There are a number of good versions of Bembo around. The trade name 
Bembo is owned by Monotype Corporation and they offer it in a variety of 
versions for print and (since very recently) as a 'web font'.

Technically, like all electronic fonts, 'Bembo' fonts scale very well. 
It may be that you have heard people referring to the fact that in 
electronic versions one drawing is used to display all sizes. In metal 
type small sizes were drawn with changes in order to stay legible while 
retaining the 'character' of the typeface. Bembo *is* particularly 
susceptible to scaling effects - see for example

and play with the scaling slider. Lower-case 'e' for example is handsome 
at large sizes but the top part tends to disappear at small sizes.

The link above is to the 'Bembo Book' font which works better than 
original Bembo for text sizes (though I'd still be pretty scared about 
using it at text sizes on a website without lots of testing/refining).
