Details About the Post:
The University of Glasgow, Scotland UK, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise on information retrieval and/or recommender systems, as well as the expertise to apply advanced techniques such as online learning to rank, counterfactual learning, or reinforcement learning.

The successful post holder will be expected to make a leading contribution to a £3M EPSRC-funded project entitled Closed loop approaches to data science, working with Prof Iadh Ounis, Dr Craig Macdonald, Prof Roderick Murray Smith, and Dr Sean MacAvaney, as part of the Glasgow Information Retrieval group. They will be expected to work with external project collaborators such as international music streaming company Moodagent - this may include opportunities to make research visits on internship/placement at such companies.
