Exploring Information Retrieval lecture series from ISKO UK and IRSG Feb/March 2022

Exploring Information Retrieval is a series of nine lectures providing an introduction to information retrieval and an overview of its fundamental concepts, techniques and applications. This programme of talks have been developed jointly by ISKO UK and BCS IRSG  to emphasise the central role of IR in all aspects of information work.

Among the IRSG Speakers are Andy Macfarlane on IR models, Martin White on AI/ML support for search, Ingo Frommholz on search evaluation and Tony Russell-Rose on user interface considerations.

The lectures take place on Thursday evenings in February and March 2022 and there is no charge for BCS Members. Each lecture can be booked individually.
