The successful candidate will be expected to make a leading contribution the EPSRC-funded project SIEPH: Safe Information Extraction from Patient Histories, working with Dr Graham McDonald, Dr Jake Lever and Professor Iadh Ounis as part of the Glasgow Information Retrieval group. The post holder will also work closely with colleagues from the NHS Safe Havens to access and work with medical data. The project will develop ML/DL approaches for extracting useful information from doctors’ clinical notes while protecting sensitive patient information.
