Full-time R&D Position

The Advanced Database Program at HP Labs does research on very large-scale
data management. Our team is focused on highly-available, highly-scalable
shared-nothing database systems. We are seeking database researchers who
are creative and innovative and can build systems to prove the practicality
of their ideas. The successful candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent
experience), research publications and software development experience.

HP is undergoing a significant reengineering effort to reinvent its own IT
and this has spawned renewed interest in database research at HP Labs. This
is an exciting time to join our team as we have many opportunities.
