IBM India Research Lab

India Research Lab (IRL) located in New Delhi and Bangalore, India, is one
of IBM's eight
research laboratories. Its mission is to conduct research in coordination
with other IBM
business units to deliver innovation to IBM product and services offerings.

IRL seeks both fresh and experienced applicants with an earned Ph.D. in
CS/EE or a related
area with an exceptional track record as demonstrated by publications
and/or patents and/or
business impact. Candidates with core expertise in the areas of Information
Management,
particularly, in Information Integration, Business Intelligence, XML
Databases,
Data Warehousing, Database Systems, Data Mining, Information Retrieval,
Distributed
Databases, and those who have expertise in developing database applications
in the areas
such as financial sectors, wireless services, customer relationship
management,
ife sciences/health care are particularly encouraged to apply. Strong
interest in
team-oriented industrial research is a must.
