Established in March 2007, Google Beijing Research conducts original research in the area of Web-scale machine learning and data mining. We are proud to announce that our first work has been accepted by NIPS 2007. We aim to publish top-tier work and develop top-tier systems. Several intern positions are immediate available for candidates who have strong knowledge in and research experience with machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, databases, and data visualization. We also welcome applicants with strong programming skills. The positions are available throughout the year, not just over the summer. You will have the opportunity of working with real-world large-scale data sets using Google's massive parallel computing infrastructures.
