Dear Colleagues,

We are preparing a state-of-the-art review on Teaching and Learning Information Retrieval (TLIR) to appear in a special issue on TLIR of the Information Retrieval Journal published by Springer.

We are interested in discussions or testimonies of different approaches to teaching IR: from least-technical to most-technical, delivered in the classroom or e-learning [distance learning], in LIS, MIS, or CS, from all around the world.

If you have work, either published or in press, that you would like us to consider, please contact us by November 30, 2007, with the full citation(s). E-copies would be greatly appreciated!

Thanking you in advance,

Andrew MacFarlane ([email protected]), Dept. of Information Science, City University, London, UK.
