Symposium on Combinatorial Pattern Matching will be held at the
Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa, Italy. Papers
in all areas related to combinatorial pattern matching and its
applications are considered, e.g. coding and data compression,
computational biology, data mining, information retrieval, natural
language processing, pattern recognition, string algorithms, string
processing in databases, symbolic computing, text searching.  The
proceedings will be published in the Springer-Verlag series, Lecture
Notes in Computer Science , volume 5029.
