CIKM 2008 Final Call For Workshops

ACM 17th Conference on Information and Knowledge Management

We encourage submissions of workshop proposal on all topics in the
general areas of databases, information retrieval, and knowledge
management, especially workshops bridging these areas, or presenting
new perspectives in these areas. A full list of current topics of

Workshop proposals should be submitted in PDF using the submission site.

Workshop proposals should address all the following issues:
*  Title and Acronym of workshop
*  Description of topics
*  Scope and novelty of the workshop
*  Workshop organizer(s) and their credentials
*  Format of workshop (1/2 day, 1 day or 2 days)
*  Intended Program Committee (indicate those who have agreed already)
*  Highlights (e.g., keynotes, panels, journal special issue)
*  Expected number of participants
*  Details of any previous workshops
*  Draft call for papers (PDF format) indicating the relevant topics
and the intended program committee

Important Dates
*  Workshops Proposals due: April 20, 2008
*  Notification of workshop proposal Acceptance: May 5, 2008
*  Individual workshop papers due July 15, 2008
*  Notification of Acceptance: August 10, 2008
*  Camera ready August 15, 2008 (hard deadline for publication)
*  Workshops: October 30, 2008 (and part of October 29 if required)
