Hi Rick,

Don't get me wrong -- I have something more specific,
less encyclopedic in mind than a database of epigrams
for all occasions.  I have been focusing especially on
the theme of how reality impacts on our representations --
what recent lights call the "symbol grounding" problem,
though ancient lights had a legion of other names for it --
but in some synchronicitous way your entry does appear as
though you read one piece of my mind, so, thanks for that!
