I don't suppose there's anything like a unique best way of regarding the normative sciences.
In my oldest thoughts on the matter I can remember drawing a venn diagram with three circles
for beauty, goodness, truth in which they all had equal status sub specie aeternitatis, from
a god's eye view, as it were, but from a human point view we find that we are limited in our
ability to recognize what is good in the way of conduct and what is true in the way of signs,
so the human path to the central unity where the 3 are 1 comes to us via our sense of beauty.
