Re: Gary Moore At: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.science.philosophy.peirce/8468 In: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.science.philosophy.peirce/8468 Gary & All, The aspect of infinity in semiosis is another one of those recurring topics in Peirce studies. I've been thinking about what I learned from the last iteration on the Peirce List, and I think the most important lesson would probably be that we have to get clear about the way that people with mathematical training, as Peirce certainly was, think about infinite structures, the relation between finite and infinite structures, and especially the way that infinite structures can be generated by finite structures. I'll see if I can work up some simple examples to illustrate those issues.
