Found a few bits and bytes of other discussions that might be worth revisiting. I tend to be skeptical about the whole "explaining consciousness" industry, partly because I draw a distinction between describing and explaining, and not everything that calls for description calls for explanation, at least, not from the standpoint of a Peircean or Aristotelian perspective on the role of abductive inference in the play of inquiry. That says nothing about the possible use of the T^3 framework in describing the contents and modifications of consciousness, however, so I think that may be worth another look.
