Re: Jack Rooney http://web.archive.org/web/20131216165602/http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.science.philosophy.peirce/11316 Hi, Jack, Not quite that long ago, but pretty far back, I was going through one of my periodic post-adolescent identity crises and changed my major (for about a year) from math and physics to communication, in which department one of the professors gave a seminar on Aristotle as the founder of communication theory. I'm afraid I did not appreciate Aristotle all that well back then, still being under the influence of the caricature my science teachers tended to paint of him, but those brief touches did continue to tug at me and led me back to further study in the next several cycles of major changes.
