I just tried to mix numbers and letters in hebrew unicode, but it seems that
the algorithm for displaying numbers is the same as in arabic. I think there
needs to be a way for the unicode display algorithm to recognize from
context or some other means that a mixture of numbers and letters is a
hexadecimal number and display it from LTR rather than a mixture of RTL and
LTR, possibly by way of a prefix. I think it would be more feasible to
modify the Unicode bidi algorithm rather than modifying the character sets.
Is the source code to unicode rasterization and display available?
