Hi Mark,

this request is not about changing any existent locale file, it's
about adding new locale variant (be_BY@tarask). It means users of
current be_BY locale won't be affected in any way.

In our request for new locale variant, we have:
- cited authoritative reference for new language variant;
- the original be_BY locale creator is the creator of the bugzilla
issue himself and he supported the idea of creating separate locale;
- we have bugzilla entry, and you just forwarded appropriate email to
libc-locale ML. (Thanks a lot.)

BTW: this language variant is widely seen by Belarusian linguists as a
separate language literary norm. It also has IANA approved variant
code which is the exact same requested on Bugzilla (-tarask).

So I hope we've made all the needed provisions for this locale approval.
