I made a human experiment, and showed the presentation to a person who
closely matches the target audience, a student of translation and
interpreting.

Here's a short summary on what she thought about the content of the
slides:

- The concept of internalisation was not familiar, was thought to be a
part of localisation.
- Meaning of Gnome, KDE was not well known.
- Some terms were strange, such as "input method", "glyph".
- The sentence "Unicode provides a unique number for every character"
didn't seem to make any sense, because a character being a number is not
a commonly known fact.
- "Dynamic substitution" could be mixed up with the term "dynamic
equivalence", which is used in translation theory.
- Tricky plurals page; other details of Finnish may be trickier than
plurals, for example inflecting words.
