I sent a time ago a patch that not only builds windows executables, but 
also two DLLs libfribidi*.dll and libfribidi-charset*.dll (the second 
being optional and depending on the first one). The fribidi.exe was 
working well for me. Since the separation of the library in two is a 
design decision and it is really not me to take it, I just sent the 
patch and am patiently waiting :-)

This all was done on fribidi2 module and I used gcc (MinGW) to build. If 
you want, I should also have somewhere a statically built fribidi.exe, 
but I am not sure where. I did not boot my Win32 partition for a month 
or so. But I can do the sacrifice for a good cause ;-)
