How do you encode LRE, RLO, PDF etc for encoding --caprtl?

Since I'm too lazy to look at the sources I'm asking this list instead. When
testing bidi algorithms and use CapRTL how do you encode LRE, RLO, PDF, etc?
Entering them in UTF8 encoding crashes the fribidi executable.
