"fribidi_remove_special_chars" function?

Hello!

I see that "fribidi_remove_bidi_marks" function is deprecated and "fribidi_remove_special_chars" is recommended replacement.
But I can't find any function with similar name.
What's supposed to be used as non-deprecated function for removing special chars?
