Hi,

Again, for your reference, attached is the one that i already committed
today, with
one big enhancement as the support for IIIMXCF is added within. To use
it, left click
the gimlet icon on panel and select the 'Configure hotkey ...' menuitem,
you can 
change the trigger keys to thing like "Ctrl+m,Alt+n" and confirm the
change. Then, when
you put focus on any window, you can find Ctrl+space wouldn't work to do
conversion
on/off, just use either 'Ctrl+m' or 'Alt+n' in this case. please note
the format, keys
are separated by ',' without any space surrounding.

The minor things need to be worked on to make it better include:

   - add Alt_Graph and Meta besides Ctrl, Shift and Alt
   - validate the trigger input to ensure they are valid,  if not, popup
     message dialog to tell user (gimlet part)
   - one window to facilitate user to manage their trigger key (gimlet
part)
   - read the trigger key value from gconf to make the change effective
across sessions (gimlet part)
