[openi18n-im:01156] emacs & motif application

I have one more question. Eventhough i have installed iiimf-emacs (in
RH9.0), i could n't able to input in emacs.
Ctrl+Space or Ctrl+Alt+l does nothing in emacs. (I haven't installed
im-switcher since it could not be compiled in RH9.0.)
Can you tell me what are the applications in which the iiimf works well.
