Dear members,

I'm glad I finally found my way to _the_ source of the Norwegian
dictionaries.

A few things about myself, and how I got here: I'm working on a project
that will soon include a feature to highlight a set of words and their
inflected forms in longer Norwegian (bokmål) documents. Since we already
use Lucene for fulltext search, I thought I'd use Solr's HunSpellStemFilter
to find inflected forms. Thus, I needed a Norwegian HunSpell dictionary,
which in turn led me to the Extensions repo of OpenOffice. Now I know that
my best option is to use dictionaries from version 2.1 at
http://alioth.debian.org/frs/?group_id=30577.

To help others who might otherwise got through the same as I, I thought I'd
join the project, and, for the time being, take responsibility for
packaging an OpenOffice extension from the newest released version and
sending them to the maintainers of the Extension Repository.

The contact page tells very little about the project... Is there any formal
membership, or leaders who'll have to approve ideas like this? :)

Regards,
Ádám
