Re: EphPod "iPod locked" error and bad index

iTunes doesn't volume-level the files. The first time you add them, it
computes their maximum volume so it remembers it in case you actually decide
to use the "Sound check" feature. I concede the interface is confusing, but
as far as I know (on my iPod) the files remain unchanged even when I
activate sound check.
