I managed to xfer some aa files via the new Audible Manager. A couple of
things to report:

The Audible manager only sees the iPod as connected if MMJ and the
ipodwatcher are installed, or if you have ipodwatcher.exe running. That is
what I did...just ran ipodwatcher.exe. I didn't have the ipodsrv.exe
service running.

The aa bookmarks still appear to be "volatile" and don't survive a connect
to the computer. (This is on my 10gig scroll wheel iPod with aa files
xfered via the new audible manager and mp3s xfered via Ephpod.

The "Play Counts" file is no longer 0 bytes, but I haven't decoded it's
contents yet. This (presumably) is where non-volatile bookmarks would get
stored.

The "DeviceInfo" file (where the "name" of your iPod gets stored) includes
the string "Amherst Sucks" in unicode starting at 0x0402. Ummmm...Joe?
Could this become a configurable option? You know, so that we would have a
choice about which institution of higher education to diss?

If you are an audible user, upgrade to 1.3 and get the updated Audible
Manager...it now supports and recognizes the iPod as connected.....

Im pretty sure, NOT 100%, that the bookmark issue has been resolved, if you
upload your books through Audible Manager.
