I am using a 20gb Ipod formated for windows running the 1.3 firmware. I have encoded files into AAC (m4a) format using Nero and used the new version of ephpod to transfer them to my Ipod. They play (more or less although I have noticed that they stop before the end of the track!) but also the equalizer on the ipod has no effect on the tracks.
