I have a touchwheel 10GB, and I've noticed the same issue (no EQ on AAC files encoded with Nero). Maybe something is not formatted correctly either by Nero or by Ephpod? By the way, I encode the MP4's at 160kbps/LC/High quality using NeroExpress.
