Are you renaming your MP4 files to M4A? Turn off Ephpod's "Save to ID3 Tag of MP3 Also" feature. That way, the "tag editing" just goes into the iTunesDB. Your M4A file will remain playable, and you'll have a real way to browse to the track on the iPod. At least, that seems to work for me. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Kurt Eckert Sent: Monday, May 19, 2003 6:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ephpod] mp4 playable but we need more tools Well, using Nero and EphPod 2.7 I managed to get some mp4s on my iPod. They played well and sounded great but without some tag editing tools it was purely an experiment. Everything comes in with unknown tags and as soon as I edit the tags the files become unplayable. I guess we just wait for some tools to come out so the format becomes useable.
