2 iPod's/1 Computer

I just upgraded and purchased a 30GB ipod. I still have my 5GB and would like to continue to use it on the same computer. For some reason, when I plugged in the 5GB after setting up the 30GB, ephpod didn't find the 5GB ipod. Then, i tried to mount my 30GB and it took a few times before ephpod could find the 30GB. Since then, ephpod has never run quite the same (it crashes intermittantly). I have two questions: 1. Can I have 2 ipods running on the same computer? 2. What have i done to ephpod to cause the intermittant crashing? Thanks...any help/guidance/suggestions would be wonderful!
