Viewing song detail in V2.60

I have just started using Ephpod. When I add songs, I cannot see the song on the song or iPod view. The song is there and I am able to change tag detail etc. but cannot physically see the detail. Just white or when viewed with the grids just the grids. No content or column headers. I downloaded an earlier version and could see all the detail and headers, but after reinstalling V2.60 it disappeared again. I would really appreciate some help.
