Synching iPOD 2.

I have a 30gb iPOD and use MusicMatch to sort and tag, while I use EphPod to add new music to the iPOD. Is there a way to do an EphPod synch without first erasing everything on the iPod? I am continually adjusting my tags, but obviously they don't transfer over when I use EphPod. The idea of doing a complete synch every time, with only the new material or changes being written to the iPOD, is a very attractive thing.
