AAC / MP4 tagging

Hi all, Having spent a fair bit of weekend time messing around with all sorts of possible combinations of getting AAC onto iPod, I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in having tagged MP4's transfer on to the iPod without having to manually re-enter the information... Will EphPod support reading MP4 tags, or is the tagging standard kinda up in the air at the moment? Some reports seem to suggest that you can even use ID3v2 tags on MP4s, though whether this conforms to any standard or not is unknown. But it would be nice to be able to do the old drag-and-drop routine and have EphPod read out all the tags, instead of having to go through the manual process at the moment. Then again, I'm probably just being a bit impatient...
