The naming convention for adding songs was set incorrectly (I've never needed this before because EphPod correctly read my MP3 ID Tags). It would be nice if: > > 1. EphPod also read the ID Tags from MP4/AAC files; and Aye, agreed. We urgently need this. > 2. EphPod allowed the import of *.MP4 files as well as *.M4A files: because Nero 6 encoded *.MP4 files play just fine on the iPod when renamed to *.M4A. However, for the User to go through 1200 files and manually rename them to *.M4A is just not practical. Of course this is a 'kludge' solution but Siren - http://perso.wanadoo.fr/rplr/scarabee/en/download.htm is a renamer that can easily rename extentions. Just set the rename expression to %b.m4a Btw I hope you're encoding with the LC setting cause HE is very very wasteful (50% of bytes wasted) on players that don't know what to do with the HE components - like the ipod. ------------------------------------------------------ ephPod Mailing List FAQ and HomePage http://www.ephpod.com mailto:[email protected] to susbcribe mailto:[email protected] to unsusbcribe mailto:[email protected] the mailing-list itself
