i am getting the same error...but inconsistently. using V1 of 20GB iPod for windows. there is a work around...before the song starts playing, click the middle button. then "scroll" a few seconds into the song. now if you hit "back" to go to the beginning of the song the whole thing should play. very weird, i know. but i'm not sure why iPod does this. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Gregory Nicholls Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2003 9:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [ephpod] truncated mp3's ? Hiya, Hope someone can shed some light on a puzzling problem. Several of my mps3 (always the same ones) don't play completely when downloaded with ephpod. The display shows the song and the correct length however I only get somewhere beween 2 - 10 sec of track before it skips to the next one. I've tried several different combinations of buffers and file API's as well as trying to get these specific songs into different files by changing the order of playlist dowloads. The files themselves are fine and play in winamp. One is a VBR but the rest are 128. Is this giving anyone an Aha! moment ?
