id tag popup drives me crazy

Hi Joe,
hi all,

I cannot not synchronize my playlists (path with m3u's is configured
in synchronisation options) without getting annoying popups: After
"processing songs" I get this "adding songs from synchronoisation" and
during this adding process I often get a popup "Modify Song Information"

When I look into the MP3 which the popup complains about, I always find
an ID3v1 tag in there (sometimes also ID3v2.3). I tried almost every
setting in ephpod's configuration but ...

=> I still get popups

The strange thing is:

- I told EphPod to get tag info from directories (in config)
i.e. the box "Use Directory structure if no tag available" is checked,

=> I still get popups

- "Save to ID3 tag of MP3" is checked - and I manually save the ID
info suggested by the popups and try to sync again the same playlist

=> I still get popups (not always for the same songs)

- When I manually press OK for every popup (with save box checked) until
this "adding songs" window disappears I expect not to come another popup
when I wipe the ipod clean and re-sync exactly the same playlists,

=> I still get popups

Is there any thing I can do to get rid of this popups? Again as I said
before, I do only want to sync my m3u playlist folder - I do not want to
add mp3s to ephpod manually or sync mp3s itself. My playlists are generated
automatically from a huge MP3 database to exactly fit in the ipod (30GB) -
this is the easiest way for me.

Please help...

Salut, Markus
