Hi,

I read some earlier gtkpod-devel messages from October in the archives
regarding the new database checksum hash for ipod touch 4g, and how the hash
wasn't implemented in libgpod yet.

>From other messages in the Ubuntu forums, it sounds like currently people
with the ipod touch 4g need to jailbreak it and downgrade the itunes
database version (I take it this makes it so the hash is one libgpod
supports?).

I can't find any news anywhere, though, about whether there's active
development on implementing the new hash for libgpod (which would mean ipod
touch 4g owners wouldn't need to jailbreak?)

Not to bug anyone, but is there any active development on this hash for
libgpod?

Thanks very much,
Jim
