I'm trying to use libgpod in a project I'm working on, but I'm not
100% clear on a couple of things. I'm not sure if I have to set the
model type or if libgpod somehow detects it now automatically? (It
seems like on older versions of Amarok and gtkpod there was a dialog
to set the model. In newer versions I don't see a place to set the
model.)
One of the iPods I have been trying to test with is a relatively new
Shuffle. In this Apple page: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 it
says it is a 4th generation Shuffle, introduced in September of 2010.
But in the itdb_device.c file the SHUFFLE_4 values say it is a Bar,
button-less, speaking. Whereas mine is Square, has buttons, speaking.
It's model number is MC753LL/A.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Scott
