Hi,

maybe one year ago i had an Ubuntu distribution and installed gtkpod
with libgpod (but i don't know the version anymore). Wenever i connected
the iPod a SysInfo and a SysInfoExtended file was generated. On starting
gtkpod also an HashInfo file was generated - as expected.

With my new Ubuntu distribution and gtkpod 2.1.0 there is no HashInfo
file generated anymore - but the SysInfo and SysInfoExtended are
present. On saving the database gtkpod shows an error-message: "Failed
to generate sqlite database".

If i connect an iPod Touch (2.Gen 16GB) the HashInfo file is generated
on starting gtkpod.

So i assume that this is 5G (C072) related. Is there a known issue with
this iPod model?

If you need any further information - ask.

Thank you!

Kind regards,
Jan.
